This blend grows about 18-24 inches tall. It is fine stemmed with long slender leaves. It spreads from seed, rhizomes, and stolons. This blend is known for its fast, vigorous, tall growth and rapid recovery after cutting or pasturing during the warm summer months.
Planting: Plant in the spring (prior to spring rains) at a rate of 5-8 lbs. per acre at 1/4 inch deep.
Soil
Performs best in well drained soils, but can survive in a variety of soil types. Grows best in full sunlight.
Height
18-24 inches. Common and Maya Bermudagrasses will be shorter and provide low ground cover
